Turkey has long been a surplus enjoyer themselves - after WW2 their armed forces have used mainly US surplus including their camouflages (M81 Woodland, frog skin to name a few). Over the decades they turned to domestic production but semi copying foreign designs. In this case they seem to have taken inspiration from a mix of US Woodland or French CE camo (the latter similar in cut as well) but adjusted the colours to suit their warmer terrain. The pattern never made it Army wide in issue and had a service life of 5 years (2018-2023) before being replaced by semi-digital patterns.
As for the shirts features, the Turks have kept it pretty simple. Two zippered chest pockets along with a left shoulder pocket, similar to French field shirt designs. The front utilizes buttons to close up and has a 'ACU' style mandarin collar with hook & loop. The cuffs are buttoned and the armpits have some small ventilation with 4 reinforced portholes a piece. The elbows are reinforced and the entire shirt is made from rip-stop fabric.
If you live in a more dry area where US Woodland or French CE camo is just too green or dark for your locale - give some Turkish 'Woodland' a go!
